What to expect during your first visit

During your new patient experience at Dentistry of Arizona, you will have a thorough comprehensive exam. During this exam, our team will listen to what is most important to you for your dental health and any concerns that you may have. Dr. Allen Ewell or Dr. Elizabeth Ewell will spend adequate time reviewing your medical history, dental x-rays, and will complete a thorough head and neck exam, oral cancer screening, and periodontal and dental exams. We will make sure you are comfortable and are given helpful dental treatment options.

After your exam, you may then have a dental cleaning or we may begin same-day restorative treatment. You will meet our skilled and gentle hygienist, Janel. If we need to schedule you back at a convenient time for your cleaning or dental work, our office manager will review the treatment plan with you and help with payment and scheduling.

What insurance do you take?

We are contracted with most major PPO insurance plans. Please give our office a call with your dental insurance card handy for us to verify if we take your plan.

What if I do not have insurance?

We are committed to making dentistry attainable and affordable to our community in Surprise, Arizona and neighboring areas. If you do not have insurance, we offer a savings plan with our Dentistry of Arizona Membership Club. Please don't hesitate to give us a call and learn more.
